These experiences inspired her to launch Squad by Envested, a social workplace engagement tool that boosts connectivity and helps employees build relationships at work. It operates as a central repository for workplace events, from happy hours to team sports outings, in much of the same way Eventbrite does. Perhaps it’s the discoverability of like minds that drives people to Squad and can help fuel mobility within companies. “I saw a very high correlation between the strongest performing groups within organizations, also having the highest grassroots engaged employees.” They have thousand of users across the country and have expanded to the UK. Squad has some of the biggest companies in the world as clients including We Work, Walmart.com, Vevo, Airbnb and SeatGeek.
