- Rick Ross and Jetdoc ink equity partnership deal
- The U.S. telehealth sector is expected to reach $25.8B by 2027
Rapper and business connoisseur, Rick Ross is using a lifeline to get into the $25.8 billion U.S. telehealth business with Jetdoc, the fastest-growing company in the sector. The partnership is setting a new standard for virtual doctor visits as Jetdoc works to not only alleviate patients’ financial burdens but also improve access to both preventative and urgent care. The perils of health have never been something that is discussed widely in the hip-hop world, it’s possible this new partnership will change that by opening up a healthy dialogue that underserved communities can benefit from.
Why This Matters: Jetdoc could not have launched at a more critical time after more than 12 million Americans have reportedly lost their health insurance due to job losses related to COVID-19. Also, the impact of the pandemic has been greatest on people of color, who statistically face steeper barriers to gaining access to affordable and reliable healthcare.

Jetdoc provides affordable virtual healthcare with instant access to telehealth sessions with board-certified doctors, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants. Priced at just $20 for a one-time virtual urgent care visit or a $10 unlimited monthly membership.
What’s Next: Ross has signed on as an equity partner, advisor and spokesperson. The Jetdoc app is now in beta and servicing patients in Florida with additional states to launch at the beginning of 2021.
